Yes, you've read right. I'm celebrating my 39th week of pregnancy and STILL counting!! I started having irregular contractions on Thursday after my doctors appointment (in which I was told I was dilated to a 4 or 5 and 80% effaced) that continued into Friday...So I was thinking perhaps I will have the baby this weekend! But no, they continued to be irregular all the way until Monday...and then they stopped!! And here I am...still pregnant. So if all you good people could think good thoughts my way I would LOVE it, and perhaps this baby will be persuaded to come out into this cold and VERY windy place this week!

CARPET!!

This may not be as exciting for anyone else, but I am super stoked about the fact that Casey found some AMAZING carpet for our house and it was installed yesterday! It rocks my world! I love it. I don't know about the rest of you, but carpet really makes my house a home, it's warm, cozy inviting and nothing is better than being able to walk barefoot in your house and feel squishy carpet under your toes! With that said, that amazing husband of mine has done so much work on this house and it is looking better and better all the time. I am so grateful to have married such a handiman! Soon we'll actually start getting our things organized and put away, and then I can get babies room decorated and in order! I'll probably save that for next week though!

Here is a quick update on us though: Casey is loving school, he stays there from about 7:30 to around 4 or 5 everyday studying and going to class, that way when he gets home he doesn't have to worry about school because he's done all he needs to, which is really nice for me! I am staying busy at our place trying to do whatever I can to help Casey get it fixed up. **Hopefully we are on the tail end of major fixes though, because I've got some fall baking that desperately needs to be done! :) Our no name baby is doing well, I just had a checkup last week and she and I are growing at a good rate (Maybe a little too much growing for me :) and she is plenty active when I sit down and relax. Someday I'll post some preggo pictures....and pictures of our house and so on...Someday when internet connectivity is faster!

Thursday Casey and I are taking off back to the West side of the state, I have a baby shower in Evanston on Saturday and Casey is going on a crazy deer hunt/hike/camping trip with his family....they're crazy but they all seem to love it, so more power to them!

I'm also starting to get antsy for fall to hit, though judging by today's weather it feels like it finally has! I'm excited to start building fires in our fireplace and being able to sit and watch it burn while reading a good book! Plus I love going to the park during the fall with all the changing colors!

On The Move

Just a quick little update on us. We pulled into Laramie last night after a 9 hour drive from Star Valley! Yes, it was a VERY LONG drive, but we only had 1 flat tire on the way luckily! I will post some great pictures of the caravan eastward at a later date and time. For now Casey is busily working on our trailer to get it more live-able than it is presently, and I'm helping where I can when I can. He will start school on Wed. the 17th and I know he is very excited for that and I'm excited that he is doing something he has wanted to do for quite some time! Next post I will get some pictures up of what's up in the Frome Home!

Progress

I don't feel like typing much but I thought I'd better do a quick update on life. Things are good, I'm done with my job and Casey and I are gearing up for our summer trips! But first, we get to see Les Miserables in Salt Lake on Friday! I'm very excited as I love the music, but have never seen it! I will let you all know how it is! And then next week we head to Coure D'Alene, ID with Casey's Dad, stepmom and all the siblings and families! Should be fun...then a few days after we get back we head to Lake Powell with Casey brother and family and some friends! Then we need to head to Laramie at some point to find a house, and we will also be headed to Vernal, UT at some point so Casey can build a porch. Then we head to Flaming Gorge with my family mid July. Before Flaming Gorge we will also probably move up to Laramie, and then the second week in August we have the Frome family reunion, and then it's off to Law school for Casey! Phew...and there goes our summer! I'm very excited for it all though!

In pregnancy news, I'm now 15 weeks along, and doing SO much better than the first trimester. I'm still on anti nausea medicine, but the nausea has gotten much better and I'm finally able to start eating more. I still battle headaches almost everyday, but the intensity seems to be getting better so I'll take that! And my energy levels are coming back! I'm not one of the few that never get over the misery that is the first trimester! I was afraid that I would be! So I'm very grateful I'm not! I have my next checkup on Tuesday. So far everything looks and sounds good! Though I do get frustrated with my appetite, I could eat an entire cow and 30 minutes later be hungry again, I'm sure of it....no exaggeration! It's ridiculous, but at least I can satisfy it for a while! And mowing the lawn by hand wears me right out! You would think I have done hard labor from dawn 'till dusk for the way I feel! Haha, but pregnancy is finally a lot more enjoyable!

New and interesting...well at least new

My dad was giving me grief that I hadn't posted for a while, but to be honest there hasn't been much going on until now so I figured why bore everyone? So I decided to wait until something interesting and/or unexpected happened....maybe I should have just posted about our boring life instead of waiting for something because we got it! We are headed to Laramie end of the summer so Casey can go to law school, which wasn't where I thought we would be headed at all! I thought Laramie was LONG gone, but it seems I was wrong! Though it is a shorter trip to see family than say Mississippi, so I can definitely be grateful for that because....the biggest unexpected of all, seriously I mean it, very unexpected.... We will be adding a mini Frome to our family this fall! So at least family will be close by when our numbers increase! Well, from our house to yours we hope all is well and this is the latest and greatest and I can't promise I will post again in the next little while... But who knows, stranger things have been know to happen!

Past Couple of Months

I am not very good at keeping up on the blog! But I will promise to try to get better! Casey and I are settled in to our nice home here in Star Valley! It is a beautiful home and it has an incredible view! When I find our camera I will take pictures and post them! In the mean time, you will just have to take my word for it!

The past couple of months have been busy for me and Casey. I have still been traveling between here and Evanston because my dad was sick for a little while. However, he is finally doing much better, and I think I will be staying in Star Valley a lot more now. I actually have a job interview tomorrow for a part time position! I am hopeful that this will go well and I will have a new job soon! I am also looking forward to finding different ways to volunteer within the community, giving me both hours to fulfill my CFLE requirements, and a chance to serve those in the community!

This last week I was able to go to Evanston and see my brother, Brady, his wife Alayna and their little boy Cael over the weekend! He is up in North Dakota going to PT school, so this was a very quick trip for them, but it was great seeing them!

This week Casey and I are looking forward to a trip up to Kaycee, WY to go on our annual white tail hunting trip! I am especially excited this year because my parents bought me a new gun! When I was younger, I never thought I could be this excited about a gun, however, I am very excited! And, to top it off, this week is suppose to be around 65 and clear skies!! It will be a GREAT hunting trip!

I have to apologize that my blogs are so boring and pictureless, but I will post some pictures of happenings as of late when I get my hands on our camera! For now take care!

Not Much

I feel guilty that I haven't posted much of anything on my blog lately except for a few lame updates. But, unfortunately, I really don't have much to update on! Our traveling adventures are over for now (but there will be more to come next year!) and we are going to sink our roots in Afton, Wy for a time. We are currently looking for places to rent, and I am looking for a job. I am hoping to find something that can attribute to my becoming a Certified Family Life Educator, however I am quickly learning that to be picky in Afton is not really an option! However there are a couple of job openings I am applying for and I will hope for the best!

I have been really hesitant towards living in Afton for any length of time, but I am slowly starting to enjoy the little quirks to this town that I have previously disliked. It's also great knowing that I have a friend from college living here as well as a high school friend living close by! Plus I have a lot of great family in the Valley too, which makes a WORLD of difference. I am definitely happy to be in this next stage of our lives, though it is proving to be a little more difficult than the college stage for me, due to the lack of routine and work and plans just not working out at all!! But I have really enjoyed myself! Hope everyone is enjoying the cold, but staying warm! Bring on Fall!

Checkin' In

Things are starting to slow down for us a bit. I am probably on my last stretch of traveling to Evanston, as I am anxious to stay in Star Valley with Casey and possibly find a job. Currently we are looking for places to rent here, but nothing has been impressive yet, but I am hoping to find something by mid September, if not sooner. I am extremely thankful to my brother-in-law and his wife, though, for letting us bunk with them for the last little while. I know it's not terribly easy having other people live in your house for an extended period of time, but I am extremely thankful to them for letting us. Though I have my reserves about Star Valley, I can definitely think of many an uglier places to live! I still have a lot of warming up to do, but I am grateful it is here in SV that we are currently, rather than a million other places that I can think of. It has almost everything I have been wanting in a place to live! I am definitely sad at the thought of those great friends back in Laramie that we left, but I am confident that we will find many more friends here as well! SV isn't lacking in young couples surprisingly enough! I do have to say that I am in need of some structure in my life again and I will hopefully be getting that very soon! But, life has been great to both of us! I can't complain! I miss you all, and hope to see you sometime in the near future! Bye for now!

Moving On

Just a quick update,

Casey and I sold our house on Aug. 13th! We are very happy to have it sold to a great family! And for now it looks like we will be in Star Valley for a time! But many adventures are sure to come!

Monday Blues

Here is a quick update before I go back to doing some work. Casey and I got into Laramie on the night of the 10th. Did some work on the house and met with a Realtor on Friday to talk about listing our house for sale. Saturday we decided we wanted to put it on the market asap since it was pretty much ready to go. Sunday we continued to do some last minute work before the Realtor came by Monday to take pictures. Monday, I did some last minute cleaning, the Realtor came by, took pictures and said that the house would be listed that day. Now, get ready for this super exciting and super ironic part of my story: the river a couple blocks away was rising pretty fast, and had been for the past couple of days, as was the ground water here at our house. While the realtor was taking pictures Casey decided that it was probably time to start moving Bj and Tersa's stuff out of the basement, just in case we had to tear up carpet due to flooding, as we could see the ground water seeping out of our french drain. So a bunch of people came over to help us move their stuff out of the basement, and then we just watched and waited for a little while, hoping that we wouldn't have to tear out all the carpet, padding and baseboard. However, as luck would have it, the ground water kept rising higher and faster, so we eventually had to pull it all out. About 30 minutes later the water started seeping through the cracks on the floor, and then it started seeping in from the side of the walls, and needless to say it's been a very, very long week, and so far and it doesn't look like we'll be selling our house for a little while. The most ironic part, there haven't been water levels this high since the late 1950's. This house has been sitting here for 20 years with no water damage in the basement that we know of, until the DAY we go to put it on the market.

To try to look on the bright side, it hasn't rained since Sunday, and hopefully it doesn't for a while. And, nothing of Bj and Tersa's was ruined, and we were able to save our carpet. The water has stopped seeping into the basement (thank goodness!), and Casey and I were able to rig up a sweet irrigation system, with a water pump and gutters yesterday to prevent further water coming in from our drain. So far, we have had to cut out a couple of inches of drywall were the water had soaked in, but fortunately that's the extent of the damage at the moment, we'll see what else pops up in the next little while. There were some other awesome things that went wrong Monday, but it's really not worth my time to list them, we are just super grateful to the people that helped us move stuff out of the basement, as well as the GREAT friends that stayed until close to midnight trying to help us keep the water in the basement to a minimum, so with this, Casey and I say thank you to all that helped us. Goodbye Texas

Casey and I are wrapping up our time here in Texas. It has been a great time though! I am going to miss being down here though. However, we picked a great time to go for many reasons. It's starting to get ENTIRELY too hot for me, working in 90 + heat sure isn't my idea of fun! So we will miss the really really hot summer, not too sad about that. And, we stayed just long enough to see Candice's new baby! She had her on Tuesday morning (Which was when we were originally thinking about leaving). So after we have a little more time with Casey's sister and niece and finish up a few jobs here, we will be taking off and head to Laramie and then Afton! Take care and see you all in Laramie soon!

Texas

I thought I had better write a quick update on how we are doing. First of all, we are still alive and doing well. We are at the end of our time here in Texas, which is a bitter-sweet feeling, though I can't say I am sad that we will miss the really hot heat but I have really enjoyed it here!. We will leave around the first of June and head back to Wyoming and spend the summer doing jobs in Afton.

We have definitely accomplished a lot in the time we have been here though! Casey has done alot of work and I have learned a lot of carpentry skills that have helped me be a more useful employee!! There are still a couple of projects left to do however so I had better get back to doing them. I will add pictures later when I get the desire! Hope everyone is good!

Adventures of the Frome's!

Hi all! So we are not in Hawaii anymore (much to my disappointment at this current time due to cold weather and, yes, snow!) However we did have a great time. Overall we spent two weeks on the Big beautiful Island and then a week in Oahu, with my cousin and her wonderful family!! We had a blast, but knew that Hawaii wasn't going to be our home, just a great vacation place! Though we will definitely be going back some day! We came back to the mainland the end of February and have been spending most of our time since in Evanston helping my parents finish up on projects in their business and home. We had the chance to spend a week in Star Valley putting up a green house for Kim. Though, I do have to note that, that week it started snowing the day we got there and didn't really let up all that much until we were done and leaving Star Valley! So as ironic as it was, we had fun putting up the greenhouse in the middle of an amazing snow storm! We are now starting to pack up (again!) and we are headed, first, to Oklahoma City, to do some jobs for Casey's brother-in-laws dad, and then we will continue down to Texas to help his sister with some projects and, hopefully, get some other projects down there from some other people! Casey is also hoping that some opportunities will open up down there, if so then we may stay down there for a while! As of now we are planning on staying there until June! We have had a lot fun and work in this area, but it's time to move on I suppose! Hope everyone is enjoying the cold and snow in spring!!

More updates from the Big Island! The fun of camping has ended for now, to Casey's dismay (I'm sure) and my....well pleasure! (I really, really like showers and a soft bed!). We have found a room to rent in a house in the Kailua Kona area on the Big Island, so we will be her for at least a month! During this time Casey and I will look at the possibilities of employment and see how practical it would be for us to live here! For now her are a couple of room pictures....it's dark right now so I don't have any house pictures...

No I wasn't trying to capture the tv in our room, this is our personal entrance into our room! Yep, pretty exciting!

So here is the last camping spot before we moved into our humble abode! Here is a picture of the sunset on Spencer Beach, which is just north of where we are....this was our last campout meal! It was a beautiful sunset...and yes, I took A LOT of pictures!

Today we went to some garage sales early....apparently people take it pretty serious around here! I filled out the worlds longest application for a job and then we went to the beach! It was a beautiful day here in Kona! We did some snorkeling and Casey did some of this:

The first days

We flew into the Kona, HI airport on Wednesday evening. Warm winds welcomed us as we stepped off the plane onto the airstrip (and yes, we did actually step off the plane onto the airstrip, not into terminals, and no, we were not greeted by flowers.) We slept in a 5 star hotel the first night called a KIA Optima. Look it up, it's a great hotel, it offers first class beds with a console in the middle! And to top it off, our 5 star hotel is portable, we only had to move it once due to.....unusual, curious, maybe even suspicious events around us. Here is a picture of our second hotel location of the night and pictures of flying into HI.

Thursday, our first full day in Hawaii we woke up to do some exercises on the beach, yes, it was all that it's cracked up to be! It was warm and we had the ocean right next to us! It was beautiful! We then headed over to the Hilo side to pick up our tent and sleeping bags that we bought. After obtaining those we took off to tour that side of the Island as well as to find another 5 star location to sleep! While exploring this side of the Island we went over to where some older lava flow areas and not only was the sights pretty neat (it had wiped out the entire road and a town about 20 years ago) we also found a lot, and I mean a lot, of squatters hangin out in the lava fields as well as some people that decided this was prime Real Estate and built houses here, not my idea of a great investment in some of the areas, but hey, whatever works for them!

That night, we cooked some delicious food of chicken fried hamburgers and really watered down pork and beans (not quite as good as I had imagined!). Then we went to sleep with the sounds of frogs....croaking, I guess would be the term, but it was more of a chirp, and the ocean in the background! We woke up to the ocean and some beautiful sounding birds chirping! We then did some exercises on the edge of cliff that overlooked the ocean, and we were able to catch the sunrise as well!

Friday, after packing our stuff we headed to the Volcano National Park to catch a glimpse of the volcano and some lava....we didn't exactly get to see any lava because two weeks before we got here the flow had went to a different vent that we couldn't access. But the volcano was pretty neat, it doesn't look anything like Dante's peak, but I was expecting something like that to happen at any moment! The volcano is kicking out a lot of steam right now, it's quite the event, and if you look around the land, there are steam vents everywhere! After marveling at the steam blowing volcano we decided to do some hiking. We found a hike to a lava tube that is absolutely amazing! It's huge, but the best part is that the park left a good chunk of the tunnel untouched, but they let you go down and explore the rest of the tunnel if you want! Flashlights are definitely needed, but it is neat! It goes back for a long ways too! So after some hiking it was getting decently late so we headed to a camp ground near the volcano and set up for the night.

Saturday we took some more hikes and explored the volcano area a little more in depth! We did a 4 mile crater hike that was really neat. It started in the rain forest, then we hiked down the side of the mountain to the bottom where the lava is and where one of the craters is, then we hiked back up the other side of the mountain through the rain forest to get out. It was great, but definitely not a hike I would want to do in the middle of the day because the bottom can get pretty toasty! We also did a drive down the coast through some more volcanic paths. We also took a short hike to a historical sight where there are petroglyphs from native Hawai'ians.

Saturday night we stayed at a really pretty botanical garden type of campground in Hilo, it was so pretty, they had several different camp spots plus a little lodging house too.

This is me trying to stay calm and take a picture when there are tons of spiders and spider webs around this area of the garden we stayed at! Other than the spiders, beautiful spot!

Sunday we went to a church ward in Hilo, we met some great people there! We met a guy that was going to let us tag along with him when he took the zone of missionaries to a really pretty valley (Can't spell it or I would name it!) Monday, but unfortunately that didn't work out, but when they do go he is going to give us a call and see if we are around! So Sunday night we headed to the North East tip of the Island and camped out by the ocean, going to sleep with the CRASH of the waves to keep us company all night long! This place used to be a town, but the tsunami of;46 completely wiped out the town. It is now a beautiful park with a monument to the town and the people who lost their lives. Since the tsunami, the town has been moved up the hill more out of harms way.

Monday we headed across the tip of the Island, explored some caves, did some whale watching, hiked to some waterfalls and camped at a nice camp spot, but it had no water due to an earthquake in 2006...but it was beautiful and the whale spotting was plentiful!

We may, or may not have spent a LOT of time in a dark cave trying out different things to get these types of shots! I have a lot more pictures like this, only funnier! If you need some blackmail on Casey, just talk to me! This picture sure is cool though, there are four poses in this one!
This one is kind of creepy right? By this time, we didn't have to spend as much time figuring out how to do things to get this cool shot, we had already been taking pictures like these two for about half and hour!

I think we may have taken more pictures in the cave then out of the cave!

Today we spent time coming down the west side of the Island, we stopped at a national park to learn a little more about a temple the first king of Hawai'i built. We also stopped at a more secluded black sand beach! We had to go through a gated community to get to it, but it sure is a pretty area! Tonight we hunted for a camp spot, but the pickings are slim where we are now. We are on the south west area of the Island and there are about two camping sites, the first was EXTREMELY busy, and the second was a VERY uninviting spot, we had to drive 5 miles down a VERY winding, steep road, and we drove through something that resembled a community, but it is, what our guidebook would call a "local beach". According to the author it was not too taboo to go to during the week, but it was best to leave it alone during the weekend, I would say just leave it alone period! I kept having the feeling that we might get mugged! Luckily, we didn't, but needless to say I put my foot down and we are now staying in a very nice hostel in Captain Cook. We hope all is well back home, we also hope, dearly, that everyone is enjoying their COLD weather, and we will sleep easy tonight knowing that we are about 70 degrees warmer than all of you! We love you all and good night!

After seeing the whales for the past two days we had the perfect opportunity to sit and watch tons of them in a bay area, this is the best shot out of MANY shots that Casey took, we were on shore when they were frolicking around, but Casey got zoomed in just enough to get a great picture.

Cause We're Leavin On a Jet Plane.....

It's true, Casey and I will be leaving on a jet plane soon! February 3 to be precise....Destination?.....Hawaii!! We are both very excited, and we don't know when we will back! We hope to go over there and find some jobs and stay a while, or we'll just have a very long vacation! Either way, we are both VERY excited and look forward to the journey ahead. Though we will miss our friends and family, we are excited for our next, crazy, fun move!

Times Fly

This past year sure has flown by! I can't believe it! As most of you know, I graduated in August and Casey graduated with his Bachelors this December in Business Admin with a minor in Spanish and Accounting. Currently, I am still working at Gem City Bone & Joint, I am still learning a great deal, and it has been a great job for me! I still look forward to a time when I can better put my degree to use helping families and communities, but I suppose that will have to wait a while! Casey has been experimenting in different types of jobs, he started a job as a car salesman here in Laramie, however he quickly decided that wasn't a good fit! He has continued his own business, "All Things Repair", and most currently has done some odds and ends at a hotel here. He has been searching for and applying for jobs, but nothing has worked for him quite yet, however, we are still waiting to hear from one, so cross your fingers, I certainly am! Casey has also had the chance to do some ice-fishing, which he has been dying to do the last couple of years again! So he went out a couple of times the last couple of weeks and he actually caught a big rainbow trout (that's what he told me it was!).

So I baked it up for dinner and we had a great feast! However, Casey did have to stop his ice-fishing escapades for a while because of the -30 degree weather we have been having almost this entire week!! So, instead of fishing, he decided to fly to Texas and do some work at his sisters house in Elgin! So he flew there yesterday morning and he will come back next Saturday! So I have decided that I am going to get some fabric and start working on a quilt I have been itching to try to sew while he is gone and enjoy the warmth of the fire!! So to all our family and friends out there...have a superb Saturday, stay warm and we love you!!

I have decided to get much better at keeping up to date on this blog for my wonderful Grandparents and any other family members that are reading my blog somewhat faithfully or so! To catch up on the most recent events happening in our lives....here it goes:
Casey:

Casey found out that he has two bulged discs in his back so we decided it was best for him to quite his job and work on healing his back. He is also in his last two weeks of his undergraduate degree and he seems decently happy to take a break, however long it may be! He has been doing a lot around the house while he has been off work and it has been wonderful to have three meals a day that I rarely have to cook! It has been great to come home to a clean and warm house too! On top of everything, his back seems to be healing!

I started a new job in October and it has been a good job. I work as a medical assistant at Gem City Bone and Joint here in Laramie. It's definitely not my dream job, but I have learned a lot about backs and necks! I also work with some great women, I never work weekends or nights , and I get Holidays off! So I am very blessed to have such a great job right now!

So Casey and I just got back from Greeley, Colorado where we spent Thanksgiving with some family. We had a fabulous time! We even got up at 4am and went shopping the day after Thanksgiving! That was the first and definitely the last time I will do that, but it sure was fun! During that time Casey also went rock climbing, which is something he has wanted to do for a very long time, so I am really glad he had the opportunity to do that! We came home Sunday and then went to the Mountains to cut down our very first Christmas tree!! It was a great time, we listened to an interview of Casey's great-great-great grandfather (I think) and I got to learn a little more about his family! and for those of you who are wondering how good our Christmas tree turned, here is a picture!

It's great coming home after work and seeing my Christmas tree lit up in our window! It brings a smile to my face every time! And to go along with the Christmas Season, Laramie is doing a light show at the Courthouse building and the lights go along with music that is played on a radio station, so Casey and I went to the kick off tonight, we got some apple cider and some cookies, we went and sat in the car and watched the light show! Well life has been somewhat relaxed and enjoyable for the past two months, but I have been really terrible about writing on this...maybe I'll give this job to Casey...anyway...school has been good for Casey and he still works out by Woodslanding and enjoying....as of tomorrow I will officially be a full-time worker, so that should be fun. Well we hope everyone is doing splendid and maybe I will write on this more....maybe!

Goodbye Summer

Goodbye summer and hello fall! This is actually a sad sentence for me because I feel like summer was close to nonexistent this year....Oh well! I am happy to report that I have officially finished my degree and am now a proud graduate without a job! But I am actually trying to modify that one little detail by updating and fine tuning my resume, and searching around Laramie for a job...hopefully with a little help from a career counselor and the College of Agriculture! This is really all I have been up to lately, it's definitely fun not being in school, but at the same time I feel completely lost without that class schedule or even a job...thus the whole "searching for a job" thing! Wish me luck!

El Gorge

I just got back from an awesome time at the Gorge, that is..Flaming Gorge!! Casey and I spent a fun-filled week there with my family, it rained a lot, but it sure was fun! We got some good jet skiing time out there, some tubing time and some (tiny) swimming time! We also got to know what it feels like zooming down the Gorge while it's pouring out! I wouldn't recommend it for those of you who haven't had that experience, especially if you have sunburns, it hurts! We had a great time though, and it was great to see Casey for a week! We were able to head back to Evanston on the 4th just in time to enjoy the spectacular fireworks display they have, and the fun didn't stop when the city was done with their show, the fireworks were constant even after that! I tell you what, fireworks is the way to go in Evanston, you could be rich off of what the people in that town alone spend on fireworks! It was amazing! The fun continued out at my parents house, it was great to lay in bead and see fireworks outside! It was a perfect ending to a great week!

Wow! I am terrible with this whole blogging thing apparently! To update everyone, summer has been pretty good so far, I have just been doing my internship and taking some trips! I recently got back from a guided river rafting trip and a Salt Lake City family reunion! The rafting trip was amazing, Casey and i did some white water kayaking! That was AWESOME!! I highly recommend it if you have not tried it before! Other than that, Casey has been gone all summer doing jobs elsewhere, and that has been sad, but I have been able to see him quite a bit, so I can't complain! I am lucky though because I have a really good friend living with us right now, so she keeps me company, which I am deeply grateful for!

In other news, our basement is done and now we are getting the house ready to sell....:( which isn't one of my most exciting things to talk about, but the future looks to be quite fun, and in order to have that future, the house has to be sold because Laramie is not where we want to stay...but I sure am enjoying the heck out of it while I am here! We finally have a lawn, and it looks pretty dang good!! The best part is that it was done with grass seed, and I mowed it for the first time this week!

So that about wraps up the summer so far, the end of next week I will be heading to the land of Evanston and then from there we are taking off the el Flaming George for the 4th of July week!!! I am very, very, extremely, super excited to go, hopefully we will get lucky with some sunny weather all week!!

Yes, this post is huge news for those of you that read!! Wait for it......drum roll......Yes it is positive, I am graduating on May 9th!!!! WOW! Can you believe? Me either, so I am super, super, super, dooper excited and I can't wait to get that diploma...well actually I won't actually get the diploma until after I finish with my internship in Augusta, however, walking is pretty exciting in and of itself! So, there is the latest. I have a huge long post to...well post, however, it's been so crazy here that I haven't got a chance. When I get some time after Graduation I will post some pictures, talk about myself and Casey for a while... ya know, that 'ol chestnut! Anyways, I hope all is well with everyone, and I will be posting our crazy life later!

One Man's Junk Is Another Man's Treasure?

So today we went to the dump to get rid of our unused, useless, non-utilized items that we no longer needed. We all know the saying, "One man's junk is another man's treasure" right? Well, Casey definitely knows the true meaning of that saying. For example, when you all go to the dump, you usually, well....dump you trash and leave, right? Well, Casey dumps his trash and then what does he do? Does he get back in his vehicle and leave, like a good city citizen dumper? Oh no, he does some dump diving (which is a step up from dumpster diving, mind you) to find new treasures that he can take home. Items such as a sewing machine, gun case, wood for various construction projects he has going on at home, trash cans, aluminum, tricycles and other such nonsense items have been gained by a simple trip to the dump! Who else leaves the dump with more things than they came with? Oh, and of course there is a guard hanging out in a little shack at the entrance of the dump monitoring all going in...and out, so not only is he dump diving, he has to make a strategic plan of getaway from the dump guard to keep his well fought after treasures (mostly from the crows). Not only is it strategic, he also succeeds at it...every time in fact! So, the next time you see Casey, you should ask him about his prized possessions from the dump, maybe we will even start up a trophy room of prized dump articles rescued from the depths of the landfill for all to see, and if you're really lucky, maybe you can be the next lucky contestant to take a trip to the dump with Casey....

Well, on other news, our basement room that Casey has been working on for the last little while is done! And not only that, but we are going to finish the rest of the basement apparently, so yesterday he started framing in a room downstairs...I'm telling you guys, when he says he wants to do something, he means business and usually starts it up that day! He moves quick! Below I have posted pictures for our friendly viewers out there!

Here is the view looking down our stairs, note the carpet...and I know you're thinking, "Wow, I wish I knew what company installed that carpet because they did an amazing job!" However, I am now going to amaze you all by telling you my amazing husband Casey installed all of the carpet downstairs!! Isn't he great?!

This is the wood Casey installed on our stairs, it looks even nicer in person! By the way, this would probably serve as our trophy room for our dump prizes...the wood just adds a sort of trophy feel for this room and it would only be fitting for all that good stuff to be in here...

Yes, the wood box is custom made too? :) I'm pretty sure Casey would build you one if you wanted....come to think of it, that wood might have come from a dump run....and for the main part of the room....

On other news, my brother Brady is now a DADDY! There little bundle of joy was born on Feb. 21! So I am now the proud aunt of yet a third nephew! Life is great! So if you by chance run into them, congratulations is in order!

So a sudden epiphany has hit me!....I need to get a hobby or something because at this moment in time I am listening to C-Span....after going to school and sitting for four hours straight!....WOW is what I say, who does this? I really need a hobby (I would say job because that would be more beneficial, however, due to current situations...like lack of motivation to get a job, and school which isn't as much an exciting thing...I choose to use hobby because that would be more exciting!!)....just for the record...I hate politics, but it is pretty funny to listen to how dumb some people are....New strategies they say...Right...I can't wait to see what happens next, in fact, I am on the edge of my chair waiting......

Update on Life

Hey all!

It's been a little while since I did a post so I thought I would update you on life (Not that much has changed!). Casey is currently in Texas helping build a kitchen on their ranch. Apparently he got stung not once but TWICE by a scorpian! It was a baby, so I guess that is not as bad....hmm...I guess we'll find out when he comes home on Sunday! So, while Casey is in Texas, I am holding down the fort here in Laramie! I really can't complain, I have been catching up with some friends of mine that I haven't been able to spend a whole lot of time with, so that's been a lot of fun!!

On another note, I got a new (new to me!) vehicle that I am sporting around in....no it's not a lexus, but real close....a suzuki sidekick! Yes, hold your applause, I know you are all so excited for me to be driving in such luxury! But, no it really is a great vehicle, I love it! We got is super cheap, Casey tightened the clutch and viola, it runs! It is a stick, which for those of you that know me, you know how experienced I am in the art of clutching, but I am getting lots better! I can get around town and I haven't had any freak accidents yet, so I take that as a sign of my improvement!

So, apparently I have not bee challenged enough lately so I have been doing a lot of cooking and I have found the most amazing dessert in the world to make!....Chocolate Eclairs! Oh my gosh!! They are so good and easy to make, you would love em! So if anybody ever wants to come on over for eclairs...let me know, I love making them!

Well, this has been a good enough update for now, I don't really have anything else to say really, but hope everyone is just having a dandy spring/winter season (does anyone have snow right now?)! Until next time!

1 Week down how many to go?!!

The first week of the second semester is done and it looks like this semester is going to be a bit more relaxed than last semester for both Casey and I (sigh). To celebrate Friday I thought I would post some house pictures, especially of our basement that Casey is currently working on (and here I sit...). We look forward to being done with more major construction really soon! The basement actually hasn't been terrible compared to the rest of the house! Yikes! Oh, I also found this really cute background! If you are looking to update your background to something else I would recommend at least checking out the dots webpage (just click the button on upper left) the site has some pretty cute backgrounds! Okay, enough of my rambling.....

Okay, kind of a weird pic. to start out with, but this is the backside of our house. If my computer didn't have the speed of a turtle I would post before and after pictures of the house, however, I need sleep sometime tonight! So here is the finished product back here (however we have added some things like a fence and an roof over the far door).

And this is the front of our house! We actually have a small tree in the corner of the yard, it is a great wind blocker for our wyoming wind (wind, in laramie?!).

So after starting this blog and looking through our house pictures, I haven't taken any of the house since we've moved in so it looks really empty, so I am going to stop right here until I can get some that actually appear as though we live there. But, for those of you who do sort of recognize our house, the white door directly in front now contains this beauty:

Here are pictures from some of our vacations. We are very lucky because we have been able to do so much and travel to a lot of places! These first couple are of our trip two summers ago to Southern Colorado and Through Arizona.

This picture is of the San Antonio temple. It is beautiful on the outside and even more so on the inside! I highly recommend visiting this temple if you are ever in the area!

We were also able to visit the Alamo and river walk in San Antonio too (I also highly recommend putting this on your list of things to do! Very beautiful! Especially at Christmas time)

They have a huge Christmas tree they put up by the Alamo that is amazing! They also decorate all of the trees that hang over the river walk, it's beautiful!

These pictures are only a couple of MANY that we have taken! I will post some more later, I will also get some pictures posted of our house so you guys can see the amazing progress!

The First One!

Hello everyone and welcome to the first Frome blog that will actually talk about our family! Casey created one..somewhere, but instead of pictures of us or talking about us it involves pictures of derby cars and all that. Since I have no idea where or how to get into our other one I decided to do my own family blog.

Casey and I just got off of a very amazing Christmas break. We had a full month of traveling, we went to Texas to see Casey's sister Candice and her husband KC! That was a lot of fun, I got to play with five little french bulldog puppies, they are very cute. We also went to the Nutcracker in Austin, it was fabulous! From Texas we flew to California and met my parents at the happiest place in the world, Disneyland! Christmas in Disneyland, how much better can it get? From California we flew back to Denver. We then went To Star Valley and went snowmobiling for a couple of days and spent a night at the Box Y. That was a ton of fun! After that we went back to California to explore Death Valley (this time driving) with Casey's Dad and stepmom. We had so much fun doing this and saw some amazing sites! After returning from Death Valley we made our way back to Laramie to start another fun-filled semester at UW.

Casey is almost done with his degree, he just informed me this morning that he has 30 credits left, which he will knock out in two semesters, so by December that wonderful Husband of mine will be a college grad looking at what fun and exciting things to do with his Business Admin. degree. Grad school isn't looking too bad for him right now, but we'll see.

As for me, I am happy to report that this semester is my final semester of classes and I can't tell you all how very excited I am to be wrapping this very long college career up! I will have a 12 week intern in the summer (not sure where yet), but I will walk in May. By the end of those 12 weeks in summer, I can officially call myself a college graduate!

Other news, upon returning home this week Casey went and knocked a hug hole in our floor and built stairs down to our basement! Wow, did he do that quick, he was able to do that all in one day, as well as do some dry wall.

Well, I have officially updated everyone on all that is new, so I am going to go help Casey now instead of blogging all morning. Hope everyone is doing real swell!
